AI adoption carries a responsibility to people

Hearing about Amazons reported plan to lay off up to 30000 employees and hearing Andy Jassy directly link it to AI adoption genuinely distresses me.

Hearing about Amazons reported plan to lay off up to 30000 employees and hearing Andy Jassy directly link it to AI adoption genuinely distresses me.

We cannot use AI as an excuse to displace humans and improve our bottom line. The ethical responsibility of leaders is to implement AI transparently and use it to augment their workforce as much as possible, not replace it.

AI should be a force for productivity, creativity, and empowerment, not reduction. Let us plan and implement it responsibly, with the end in sight: people and technology working side by side.

Just my opinion.
