If you manage mobile access in Microsoft environments, today’s Intune enforcement is worth your attention.
Microsoft has started enforcing updated Intune MAM SDK and wrapper requirements. Apps that have not been updated can simply stop launching. No outage. No exploit. Just policy doing what it was always meant to do.
This mainly affects MAM without enrollment on iOS and Android. Wrapped apps, SDK integrated apps, and even Microsoft first party apps are in scope if they are out of date. Android users also need current Company Portal versions.
What this really highlights is operational discipline. Mobile access is often treated as finished once it works. But app protection policies age. SDKs age. Ownership gets fuzzy. When enforcement arrives, it feels sudden even though the warnings were there.
