Where do you think the future of IT is heading?
More Cloud, SaaS, PaaS, IaaS and AI, or are we about to come full circle with more on-premises infrastructure and traditional data centers?
Personally, I don’t think it’s either. I think we’re moving toward an era where technology decisions become less about ideology and more about placing the right workload in the right place. AI will accelerate that shift because the demands of data sovereignty, latency, regulation, and cost are forcing organizations to think differently.
The future isn’t cloud first or on premises first. It’s architecture first. The organizations that succeed won’t be the ones chasing the latest trend. They’ll be the ones building platforms that are secure, resilient, and flexible enough to evolve as technology inevitably changes.
Curious to hear where everyone else thinks we’re headed? Love to hear some different opinions!
